Kadamai Rural Development & Skill Training Center - (Aathur – Tindivanam)
Our project aims to empower unemployed rural women from the backward villages of Aathur, Tindivanam by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through skill development and income-generating activities. Many women in rural communities possess the determination to support their families but lack access to skill development and employment opportunities. We aim to bridge this gap by providing value-added training programs that enhance their skills, confidence, and financial independence. In addition to vocational training, the program also promotes financial literacy, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and community participation through SHG formation and capacity-building activities.
Kadamai Saranalayam – Free Home for Old Age People in Manali
Kadamai Saranalayam is a humanitarian initiative committed to providing free residential care, protection, and emotional support for destitute, abandoned, and economically vulnerable senior citizens in Manali, Chennai.
With the growing challenges of elderly neglect, loneliness, and lack of family support, many senior citizens are left without access to proper shelter, healthcare, nutrition, and compassionate care. Kadamai Saranalayam was established with the vision of creating a safe, dignified, and caring environment where elderly individuals can live peacefully with respect and security.
Our home serves as a place of comfort and belonging for elderly people who require continuous care and support. We strive to ensure that every resident receives not only their basic necessities, but also emotional well-being, companionship, and a sense of family.
Kadamai – Skill Training for Entrepreneurship Development Training Center – North Chennai
As part of this program, we also conducted a dedicated session on Free Self-Help Group (SHG) training, aimed at empowering participants to become successful entrepreneurs.
Through this initiative, beneficiaries gained valuable insights into group-based enterprise models, financial management, Digital Marketing and Business development strategies. The session focused on nurturing their skills, building confidence, and enabling them to transform their talents into sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Together, we are taking a step forward in promoting entrepreneurship and creating pathways for economic independence.
